Ascon Oil Company is managed by a crop of individuals who have a combined cognate experience of over 80 years in the Oil and Gas Industry.

Barr. (Mrs) Grace N. Olowofoyeku
Group Managing Director

Barr. (Mrs) Grace N. Olowofoyeku has been a Director of Ascon Oil Company Limited since its incorporation in 1985. She is involved in all the decision making processes of the company. She graduated from the University of Lagos with an LLB (Hons) degree and was called to bar after successfully completing her stint at the Nigerian Law School.

Alongside being a barrister, she has had a wealth of experience experience in Sales and Marketing while working for Unilever (formerly Lever Brothers) as a Sales Supervisor from where she left for private business in 1981. She took on the position of Group Managing Director, Ascon Oil Company following the demise of the Founding Managing Director Engr. George Enenmoh.


Ike Enenmoh
Executive Director

Ike initiates, oversees and directs operational proceedings and all international trade transactions. His drive, passion and insight has helped the company re-invent itself. He is at the heart of innovation and drives all the processes for excellent, result-oriented service and product delivery.
With a Degree in Chemical Engineering from the IOWA State University, U.S.A, a Minor in Journalism and Mass Communication and requisite experience, he is at the vanguard of moving the company forward.


Ndudi Enenmoh

Executive Director

Mr. Ndudi Solomon Enenmoh holds a Bsc Degree in Finance from the Michigan State University, U.S.A. He oversees all financial operations of Ascon Oil and all the subsidiaries in the Ascon Group.


Kam Enenmoh
Executive Director

Mr Kam Enenmoh holds a Bachelors of Science in Finance from Michigan State University and an MBA from Texas Southern University, USA. The financial operations of the firm are handled by him alongside driving Sales, Marketing and Public Relations with the overall aim of driving the company forward to reach greater heights. He is critical to the company’s asset management and development. He is also the President of Ascon Oil & Properties in Houston, Texas and manages the firm’s real estate portfolio overseas.


Mr Ikem Ohia
Group General Manager, Corporate Services/Legal Adviser

Ikem oversees all legal matters of the Company. He is also responsible for catering for Ascon Oil Company Limited’s Corporate needs. He has work experience that spans more 2 decades. Having been called to bar in 1977, he has also worked in the Oil and Gas industry both on national and international levels. Ikem worked with Unipetrol for a total of 15 years where he became General Manager of Unipetrol Sierra Leone, a subsidiary of Unipetrol Nigeria.


Mr Daniel Akpokodje
General Manager, Operations

Daniel Akpokodje is an Engineer with a wealth of experience in the design ,construction, safety, maintenance, operation and management of petroleum depots. He graduated with B.Sc Mech Engineering from the University of Ibadan, Masters degree in Industrial Engineering, University of Ibadan and Masters degree in Software Engineering from Conventry University, England. He worked in Wesco Engineering company L.t.d. Warri as a Trainee Construction and Maintenance Engineer. He worked as a construction Engineer in Delcon oil company also in Warri, Delta state. The job involved construction of oil field pipelines for shell Nig Plc. He joined Total Nig Plc where he served in different positions, first as a plant Engineer at Total Nig Plc, an ISO certified blending plant at Koko , Delta state; then as an Installation Maintenance and Project Engineer involved in the construction of major projects in plants and depots for the company. His last appointment at Total Nig Plc before joining Ascon oil company was Aviation operations manager in which he was in charge of the management of all Aviation depots nationwide.

As General Manager, Operations in ASCON OIL, Daniel Akpokodje oversees a 36,000 MT Total Nig. Plc petroleum depot at Apapa; takes full charge of operational and maintenance matters in respect of ASCON OIL’s retail outlet network; manages and oversees the ASCON AVIATION business unit. He was involved in the design and construction of the entire depot.  He has attended a lot of courses on Aviation and petroleum depot operations locally and overseas.


Mr. Emmanuel Omiunu
CEO, Golden Shield Insurance Brokers Limited

He has garnered over 43 years cognate experience in the Insurance industry, having started his insurance career with Royal Exchange Assurance Company in February 1971. He also worked with Great Nigera Insurance Company and America International Insurance Company Ltd before proceeding overseas for further studies.

Mr Omiunu is an alumnus of Glasgow Caledonia University Glasgow and Abertay University, Dundee, all in the Uk. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute, London, a Fellow of the Insurance Institute of Nigeria and also a Fellow of the Council of Registered Insurance Brokers of Nigeria. He is also a member of the British Institute of Management and holds a postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies. Mr Omiunu is an Insurance and Risk Management expert with vast experience in underwriting and broking as regards the Nigerian Insurance industry.

He has attended several courses and Seminars in Nigeria and abroad and has been responsible for some innovations in the Nigerian Insurance Industry. As the Chief Executive Officer, he drives the operations, business development and corporate strategy of Golden Shield Insurance Brokers Ltd.


Anthony Azubuike
Deputy General Manager, Finance

Mr. Anthony Bianodu Azubuike is in charge of the financial matters of the company. An accomplished accountant with 20 years’ experience in Finance, Auditing and Taxation, he has attended various local and international trainings and is a member of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria.


Ezekiel Ebuetse
Manager, Information Technology

Ezekiel is Project Management and an Information Technology Professional. Prior to joining Ascon Oil Company Limited, Ezekiel has worked in four different companies of the Honeywell Group of Companies. His analytic mind and versatility in approach to business make him fit in almost everywhere his skills are required. His extensive experience in Business Analysis, Consulting, Business Process Performance Improvement, Business Strategy, Information Technology Service Management and Project Management has helped re-invent the company’s business process.
Ezekiel is an Electrical / Electronic Engineer by training from the University of Port-Harcourt and also holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Lagos. He is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), ITIL Certified, a Cisco Certified Network Associate. (CCNA) as well as CompTia Network Plus Certified (N+)


Helen Idowu (Mrs)

Manager, Internal Audit

Mrs. Helen A. Idowu is the Manager, Internal Audit and Investigation department of Ascon Group. Her position in the company has seen her continually ensure strict compliance in all the company’s auditing and accounting processes. She’s got an MBA in Finance in addition to her being a Chartered Accountant (ACA) and a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). She is also a Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) and a member of the Nigeria Institute of Management. She Joined Ascon Oil Company Limited in August 2003 as an Account Executive and grew through the ranks to the position of Manager.




The Company presently has a staff strength of over 300 all over the country.
